Responsibilities

Responsibilities shall include but are not limited to:

  • Develop end to end Salesforce solutions using Force.com APEX Class, Triggers, Visualforce pages, components etc.
  • Play a technical role in evaluating new CRM technologies/add-ons and develops plans for their implementation into Salesforce org.
  • Provide technical support for existing custom APEX code being used on the Force.com platform
  • Integrate applications with Salesforce leveraging SOAP/REST based solutions
  • Train other development resources on Salesforce development practices
  • Maintain alignment with Salesforce development best practices
  • Build future integration points between Salesforce and Custom Applications
  • Provide real-time support to our Salesforce CRM users and it’s integrated applications
  • Manage profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security controls within Salesforce
  • Project lead for CRM onboarding & divestment activities
  • Create and maintain effective documentation on integrations, processes, and other solutions
  • Grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
  • Aid large-scale data improvement projects within Salesforce and integrated applications
  • When required update or upload large volumes of data via tool such as data loader or workbench
  • Create Reports & Dashboards as needed by business
  • Maintain and drive understanding of current Salesforce capabilities and stay up to date on latest Salesforce releases
  • Provide input on Salesforce capabilities, solutions, and challenges to the Sales, Customer Success, Implementation and Product teams

Qualifications

Candidates must present the following qualifications to be considered eligible for this position:

  • 3+ years of Salesforce experience, as a developer and Admin
  • Have Admin 201 or higher certifications and preferable to have App dev certifications as well
  • Functional proficiency in Salesforce administration tasks including, and not limited to: Profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, roles, workflows, processes, flows, validation rules, approval processes, email alerts, advanced formulas, custom objects, reports, dashboards, page layouts, record types, Lightning pages and installed packages
  • Experience supporting large Salesforce environments with several integrated applications
  • Experience documenting and analyzing processes, procedures, and/or policies
  • Ability to train individuals, groups, and first-time Salesforce users
  • Extensive experience in Apex and Visualforce development
  • Hands on experience with Web services and integration
  • Extensive experience in developing Lightning Components - both within the Salesforce Lightning Design System and by writing custom Lightning Components
  • Experience creating Workflow, process builder and Approval processExperience with developing data models within Salesforce
  • Understanding of UX and UI design principles
  • Experience with interacting with external systems via Salesforce callout
  • Good experience of SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) and SOSL (Salesforce Object Search Language)
  • Exposure to LWC (Lighting Web Component)

  • Strong communication skills -- both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated, flexible, team player with solid multi-tasking, time management & organization expertise with the ability to manage multiple and often changing priorities
  • Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment
  • Experience working with information systems practices such as ITIL.
