Responsibilities
Reporting to the Central Survey Group’s Manager or his designee, the candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse workload of surveying tasks within scheduled milestones.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;
Prepare survey task scope of work and independent staff cost estimates for professional land surveying services. Review consultant proposal cost, and ensure schedule/budget compliance.
Coordinate multiple assigned survey tasks with ongoing construction work, engineering design and other stakeholders, manage with minimum disruptions to facility operations, while keeping senior staff and client departments fully apprised of significant issues and impacts.
Coordinate work between office staff, field survey personnel and consultant staff to ensure accurate work and continuous communication with all project stakeholders.
Preparing and executing quality control reviews, safety and quality assurance procedures.
Review incoming CAD files for clarity, content, accuracy and coordinate with survey Consultants and outside agencies.
Analysis and review of boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, topographic and control surveys, construction surveys, legal descriptions, and other related documents.
