Description

The People Analytics & Support team, within the Human Resources Department, is seeking a talented Senior HRIS Analyst. The successful candidate will be highly confidential, analytical, customer focused, process and detailed oriented, and bring a strong understanding of Human Capital Management (HCM) systems with project management experience.

In this role, you will provide functional support in maintaining, implementing process improvements, ensuring data integrity and being the go-to subject matter expert for HR systems. This support will span all HR functions including Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Benefits and Compensation, etc.

The Senior HRIS Analyst is responsible for:
  • Building, fostering, and maintaining robust relationships with business customers and IT colleagues to set technology priorities and meet expected customer results.
  • Serving as a liaison between functional and technical staff to manage ongoing system upkeep of various modules within our PeopleSoft HCM including, but not limited to compensation, position management, employee job and personal data, benefits, reports, recruitment, custom modules, etc.
  • Conducting business process analyses and needs assessments to align IT solutions with business initiatives.
  • Managing system-projects by identifying requirements, building project plans, and matching the technological solutions with streamlined business processes that will assist the business in achieving its goals.
  • Monitoring and maintaining existing integrations, making modifications, and partnering with IT on the creation of new integrations as needs arise.
  • Along with HR Systems colleagues, providing production support including researching and resolving HCM issues, identifying flaws and recommending solutions meeting business requirements.
  • Participating in the review, testing and implementation of HCM system upgrades/patches, maintains system tables, and documents process and results.
  • Monitoring current trends and continuously participating in developmental and growth opportunities to enhance HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge.
  • Generating reports, writing/running queries and navigating dashboards to help maintain data integrity and assist in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.
  • Developing and maintaining system administration documentation (configuration, training, administration guides, etc.).
  • Ensuring data security and standards are adhered to.
  • Performing other duties and participate on special projects as assigned.


Qualifications

Candidates must present the following qualifications to be considered eligible for this position:
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field (computer science, information technology, business, psychology, etc.) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years related work experience in HRIS utilizing PeopleSoft or similar HCM platform
  • Strong understanding of HR business processes and HR data


Desired

Ideal candidates will present the following profile:

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and/or HCRI Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR)
  • Prior HCM system implementation experience
  • General understanding of HCM interfaces with third party vendors
  • Change management and project management experience
  • Solid knowledge of HR functions, automated workflow processes, payroll administration, benefits administration, compensation planning tools and talent management
  • Flexibility to adjust to multiple tasks and demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and multiple projects simultaneously in a team-oriented, cross-disciplinary, collaborative environment
  • Excellent written, oral communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including research techniques
  • Skilled in the analysis and development of various reporting functions
  • Demonstrated proficiency in various reporting applications, including interactive reporting functions, employee self-service, manager self-service, and user reporting dashboards
  • Familiarity with human capital metrics, their use, development, and presentation
