Join the Port Authority of NY & NJ’s Innovation Incubator as a student-intern, and support the PA’s intake team and project delivery managers with your skills.
The Employee Innovation Incubator is a central portal for new and creative solutions submitted by the PA/PATH workforce. The process for consideration is inclusive and transparent, allowing ideas/solutions from anywhere in the agency to be evaluated on their own merit against a standard set of criteria.
The internship will involve the intake and initial review of incubator applications, the tracking of applications, research and writing, and providing technical and/or administrative support.
Duties will include:
  1.  Gathering and organizing information/documentation of applications. (Ensuring all necessary information is received)
  2. Review of applications against standard criteria
  3. Prepare application information folder for each submittal
  4. Conduct process and hand-off meetings with core team
  5. Participate in Incubator meetings and propose improvements to process
  6. Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions
  7. Keep workflow on track
This internship can be performed virtually and will last through June 2022 with an option for renewal. We welcome applications from students who are able to work either a part time or full time work schedule.
