The Engineering Department is looking for a summer intern to join their team in the Enterprise Asset Management Division! Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assisting the Governance Team in developing standards and procedures that bolster Asset Management focus areas (e.g. Operations & Maintenance, Project Delivery, Key Performance Indicators [KPIs], etc.) Spearhead research initiatives regarding future functionality/integrations that may form part of the Program’s strategic roadmap.
Benchmark the Authority’s EAM Program with peer transportation agencies in areas such as: IBM Maximo utilization, BIM/GIS utilization, asset data handover from capital contracts, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and incorporation of EAM practices in wider agency business processes.
Assist end user departments in preparing data for system load and in reviewing asset data standards.
About the Enterprise Asset Management Division:
Enterprise Asset Management is a program of projects and initiatives that utilize world class principles and best practices to assess, maintain, and manage the Agency's physical assets throughout their lifecycle while providing visibility into their health. Through workforce empowerment and continuous improvement in processes, technology, work methods, and tools, the EAM Program optimizes asset risk, performance, and cost.
This will be a hybrid internship opportunity, meaning that it will be virtual and in-person throughout the summer.
*This internship is expected to be a full-time internship lasting 12 weeks.
