Reporting to the WTC Security Systems Manager, the Senior Security & Technology Analyst (“Security Analyst”) will be responsible for coordinating technical resources and performing duties respective to the IT architecture and services specifically related to designing, deploying, and supporting WTC Security initiatives, systems, and security related projects.

Project management and monitoring progress of security projects and ensuring the overall goals, schedules, budget and benefits of the program are achieved. Analyze program scheduling to ensure individual projects are meeting their milestones and the program’s critical path is not impacted.


Support the mission of the WTC site and WTC Security Department by managing security system projects from design to deployment to integration, while demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and professional industry knowledge.

Review systems designs, maintenance strategies and schedules to ensure all equipment supporting the WTC Security program is highly reliable and maintained to the manufacturer’s specifications. Collaboration with the WTC Security team to create maintenance budgets and equipment refreshment schedules based on end-of-life status from the equipment manufacturers.

Responsible for developing and communicating cyber-security related policies, threats, and vulnerabilities to project managers and other WTC Stakeholders as necessary. Provide policy, threat, and vulnerability communication in a manner that will provide benefit and control to the overall WTC Security Program. SME and an in-depth understanding of new trends and technologies related to IT Security and Compliance and have experience working with large enterprise class deployments.



Candidates must present the following qualifications to be considered eligible for this position:

  • Video Management Systems (i.e: Genetec, Verint, Avigilon, etc) and Access Control Systems (i.e: Lenel Onguard).
  • 5 + years of working directly or leading physical security projects in multiple technologies and functions. 
  • Related work experience with project management, installation, maintenance, and administration of core security systems (i.e., access control/alarms, CCTV video management systems, etc)
  • Related work experience with reading and interpreting technical drawings and or schematics for projects or system designs. 
  • Applicants must meet all performance and attendance standards and have completed all probationary periods at time of appointment to position.


Ideal candidates will present the following profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related Information Technology (IT) field from an accredited college or university.

Experience as a direct contributor or management on integration between access control and CCTV systems.
Subject matter expertise in the physical security systems arena.
Experience with planning and managing all phases of system development (e.g., requirements gathering, design, configuration, development, selection, testing, implementation, maintenance and application support).
Excellent communication and strong writing skills, with the ability to collaborate, coordinate and influence all interested parties including making group presentations.
Highly motivated, organized and detail oriented individual able to effectively prioritize tasks, delegate, and handle multiple projects at a time in a high-pressure environment.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Firm grasp of business technology, business acumen and processes through strategic and innovative thinking, analytical problem solving, and decision-making.
Proficient in the use of software application, such as Microsoft Office.
