Responsibilities
The Port Authority offers 12-week paid summer internships to students that provide the opportunity to work with knowledgeable and experienced professionals on assignments critical to operating, maintaining, and expanding the transportation infrastructure for one of the greatest economies in the world.
The JFK Redevelopment Program of the Aviation Department is looking for interns to join their team for the summer of 2019. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The intern will work at JFK Airport to assist with effort on the JFK Redevelopment Program. Currently, the Program is in both an advanced planning and early design stage and work will be related to various technical efforts which will support the development deals with JetBlue and TOGA. This work will serve under the direction of the the Redevelopment Program’s Senior and Program Managers.
Qualifications
Candidates residing in the Southeast Queens, Southwest Queens, Rockaways, Elmont, Valley Stream and Five Towns areas are highly encouraged to apply.
