Responsibilities

Senior Reproductions Equipment operator is an entry level job. Under the assistance of the Principle Reproductions Equipment Operator and the direct supervision of the Print Shop Foremen, the Senior Reproductions Equipment Operator performs various types of reproduction work and digital format printing. Responsibilities inclueds but are not limited as below:

•Operates printing presses and is responsible for own work which is evaluated on the basis of quality, productivity and efficiency.

•Sets up, operates and cleans sheet-fed offset printing and duplicating equipment doing all types of offset reproductions, including half-tones, work requiring critical register, and work in several colors.

•Performs collating on automatic collators equipped with automatic folding and saddle stitching equipment; plastic comb binding on semi-automatic and manual equipment; paper punching; paper trimming on electro-hydraulic equipment; operating laminating and trimming equipment.

•Scanning of documents and saving as a PDF.

•Work on other projects as needed

 

Work Shift:

Senior Reproductions Equipment Operator works a standard 36.25-hour week. Work shifts may be rotating as per facility requirement (am, pm, midnights, rotating weekends, and holidays).

Qualifications

Candidates must present the following qualifications to be considered eligible for this position:

•High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

•One year full-time paid work experience in operating various duplicating, printing, and associated equipment.

•Must possess a Valid Driver's License.
