About the Role |

Responsibilities |
Reporting to the Operations Manager, Port Jersey, the selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring the operations of tenants based in Port Jersey and Port Ivory to ensure compliance with security requirements, lease agreements, and the Port Authority Marine Terminals Tariff FMC Schedule No. PA 10.
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing a direct, real-time operational presence in Port Jersey, Port Ivory and Greenville Yards, which have each experienced exponential growth. This position will oversee and monitor operations at the Cape Liberty Cruise Terminal including compliance with operational aspects of the agreement, including providing occasional weekend operational cruise coverage.
The selected candidate will also be responsible for construction coordination and monitoring operational activities with variety of tenants including terminal operators, auto processors, ship repair facility, and/or warehouses to ensure compliance with established agreements, regulations and procedures, management of truck traffic while mitigating impacts to other tenants, residential neighborhood, the NJ Turnpike and local municipalities.
This position is also responsible for coordinating tenant move in and move out surveys, transferring utility accounts, tracking maintenance work order requests, and assisting with the oversight of security and utility contracts, and supporting the Manager, Port Operations-Port Jersey in the coordination and administration of facility and tenant fire protection life safety inspections.
Finally, the incumbent will conduct facility tours and provide information on facility activities to visitors as necessary.
