About the Role |
Join one of the most diverse and innovative engineering design teams with multiple specialties within the transportation sector. The Port Authority’s airports, ports, ferries, tunnels, bridges, bus terminals and rail transportation systems include many of the busiest and most important transportation assets in the country. Reporting to a Senior Structural Engineer, and working closely with a Principal Engineer the successful candidate will provide structural engineering design services including the design of new, and rehabilitation or expansion of existing structures for all phases of a project, from conceptual design, through construction. The Port Authority is in the early phase of several multi-billion dollar major rehabilitation projects, at Airport, Bridges, Rail and Port facilities. This position plays critical roles in in-house design as well as in review of consultant prepared work. |
