Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager, Environmental Field Operations, the Field supervisor, should be fully competent in all conventional aspects of the subject matter related to Asbestos, Lead and other environmental remediation projects or functional areas of assignments. This includes planning and conducting work requiring judgment in independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation/modification/variance of regulations, standard methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria. Devises and defines new solutions to problems encountered. Interprets technical guidance for unusual or complex problems, reviews stage III and IV contract documents and submittals for adherence to state regulations. Supervises assigned inspectors and technical consultants’ staff on a project basis. Will act as an Environmental Lead on numerous Stage IV assignments.
Please Note: This position will be initially located at the LaGuardia Airport, Environmental Field Operations Office, but can be relocated to any other PA Facility within the Port District depending on CMD workload demands.
