Description

Responsibilities

 Reporting to the Deputy Chief of Construction and Senior Engineer of Construction – Administration.  The successful candidate will be responsible for various administrative tasks working closely with the Unit’s Pr. Business Manager overseeing the following:

  •  Divisional consultant listing, updating consultant credential profile database.
  • Tracking, uploading, and review of overtime logs; memberships for professional organizations, license renewals, oversight of perfect attendance programs, anniversary letters, tuition assistance, employee EZ Pass payroll deductions, employee Absence Control Reporting program, Procards.
  • Assist with preparation for Summer Internship and Engineering Associates interviews, and other Human Resource related matters.
  •  Assist with managing safety training certifications.
  • Organize weekly highlight reports. 
  • Places orders, tracks, and monitors all PA distributed cell phones for Division. 
  • Coordinates Division Wage Works Commuter Benefit program.
  • Special assignments working with CMD and Materials Engineering Senior Staff. 

Qualifications

 Candidates must present the following qualifications to be considered eligible for this position:

 

  • Must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Management from an accredited university or college
  • Three (3) years’ experience in a clerical role
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Construction Management
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, work independently and prioritize work
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal staff at all levels and external business partners
  • Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, PeopleSoft, SAP, SAP Management Travel/ADTRAV
