Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief of Quality Assurance and the Construction Inspection Unit Manager, the successful candidate performs inspections of the Vertical Transportation (VT) systems (Elevators, Escalators, Moving Walks, Dumbwaiters and Material Lefts); performs acceptance inspections and life safety tests for new construction; performs annual inspections for existing equipment in accordance with the applicable codes to ensure safety.
