RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Supervisor Technical Services, the successful candidate will manage the PATH Asset Management System (PAMS) for the Car Equipment Division (CED) of PATH:

  • Induction of assets into PAMS
  • Configuration of PAMS data
  • Supporting the day-to-day collection and input of data into PAMS via Work Order
  • Managing the performance of two data entry clerks
  • Overseeing the creation of work orders
  • Performing quality assurance audits
  • Creation and running management reports
  • Training of CED personnel in the use of PAMS
  • Managing the User database

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must present the following qualifications to be considered eligible for this position:

  • Significant experience using an Enterprise Asset Management system (EAM).
  • Significant operations and maintenance experience in a railroad and/or transit environment.
  • Knowledge of PATH processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications. Advanced user of Excel.

 

DESIRED

Ideal candidates will present the following profile:

  • Experience in railroad maintenance facility operations
  • Ability to supervise in a union environment at an operating facility
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze maintenance performance data using management reporting tools such as MS Power BI, and / or Crystal Reports.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS SQL database and SQL Management Studio
  • Demonstrated ability to devise and implement
  • Demonstrated experience in computer programming using Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Experience using an Application Programming Interface using JSON
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
