Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior EOC for Contract Administration, the Contract Specialist will be responsible for the administration of all consultant agreements for the Construction Management Division.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Generating consultant postings, managing interview schedules; managing agreement budgets and purchase order budgets, managing the purchase orders in the Business 2 Government (B2G) platform and in SAP.

Review monthly invoicing from the consultant firms that provide services to CMD, ensuring that the billings are in proper order and include the necessary accrual information.  In addition, track the firms compliance with their Minority/Women/Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (M/W/DBE) Goals per their executed agreements.

Review, process and forward Subcontractors Approval Requests (SARs) to Treasury for enrollment in the Authority’s Owner’s Controlled Insurance Program.

Qualifications:

Candidates must present the following qualifications to be considered eligible for this position:

  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in contract administration of consultant agreements.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.

  • Demonstrated ability in reconciling financial information, proficiency in understanding contract documents and consultant agreements, ability to interact with internal staff and external professionals at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize as required.
  • Proficient in the use of software applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments with multiple supervisors.
