Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Environmental Engineer, the Principal’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: managing technical staff performing site remediation, environmental investigation, asbestos abatement and environmental permitting for all construction projects at transportation facilities operated by the Port Authority of NY & NJ, meeting with internal and external Department Managers and their staff to resolve issues to facilitate the advancement of construction projects, provide technical support to Line departments for maintaining environmental compliance and to provide technical assistance to Law Department and Real Estate Department in property transactions.
