Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the Manager and Assistant Manager, Leasing & Property Development, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing and administering process workflow for real estate leases and agreements located at Port Department marine terminal facilities in both New York and New Jersey. Working closely with other Leasing Property Representatives, as well as with Port Authority Law, Financial Planning and Treasury Departments, critical functions of this position include, without limitation, creating, updating and tracking system entries for generating lease agreements using SAP Real Estate, overseeing insurance compliance, managing accounts receivable and customer service/billing issues, administration of fees and compliance associated with lease agreements and other property uses, acting as a point of contact for tenants and ensuring the proper authorization and execution of appropriate legal documents for new and existing lease agreements. Other duties include managing and updating databases and draft reports as required, preparing the division’s budget, and other day-to-day administrative functions and duties as required.
