Responsibilities

 Under the direction of the Manager, Maintenance & Support, the selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in the oversight of the (RTCS) Replacement Toll Collection System performance to provide improved control of system operation and maintenance activities.  These activities will include: reviewing system performance reports; providing early detection of equipment problems; diagnosing system/component problems; providing assurances against extended periods of undetected component failures; performing image quality reviews and calculating adjustments to tolls as appropriate; overseeing system administration; coordinate system change management; inventory management oversight, and root cause analysis research ensuring optimal performance of subsystems. The selected candidate will also coordinate activities between the maintenance provider and the facilities to ensure timely repairs with minimal impact on facility operations and customer service. Flexible working hours and off-hours remote system monitoring on a rotating basis are required.  

  

Qualifications

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration equivalent 
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, report writing and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in creating SQL queries.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data with analytical tools, such as Excel pivot tables and pivot charts.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects.


 
Desired 

  • Knowledge of computerized maintenance management system applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and maintain a MS Access Database.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and maintain a SharePoint online site or MS Teams group.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, quantify, and measure Service Level Agreements in a performance-based contract.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in various computer driven programs and experience manipulating data with the use of MS Applications.
  • Experience in an engineering or IT environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and make recommendations.
  • Proficiency in the design, testing or maintenance of electronic toll collection systems.
  • Working knowledge of toll collection equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of how E-ZPass works.
  • Experience in contract management.
  • An advanced academic degree in a technical field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of facility operations.
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau and R.
  • Demonstrated concern for meeting and exceeding expectations and requirements of customers as well as an understanding of customer service environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of internal and external staff, contractors, and cross-departmental teams.
