Senior Forensic Auditor

Description

The Forensic Auditor will be responsible for conducting highly confidential and sensitive investigations relating to Port Authority employees, or other individuals or organizations doing business with the Port Authority, utilizing appropriate investigative techniques and resources.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares Reports and Maintains Records
  • Performs Special Assignments
  • Collaborate with federal state, and city investigators and law enforcement agencies
  • Conduct Interviews

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Demonstrated ethics and sound judgment, with an ability to exercise discretion on confidential and sensitive matters
  • Ability to both work independently, as well as in a team environment, and take direction

 

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong writing and editing skills, including the ability to prepare professional emails, memos, and letters
  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze and assess information from a variety of sources, including public, commercial, employment, financial, government, and criminal justice
  • Investigative, legal, journalistic and/or academic research experience
  • Capable of managing a high-volume workload in a fast-paced team environment, with the capacity to address unforeseen challenges
  • Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
