TITLE:Senior Cyber Security Audit Supervisor
LOCATION:Journal Square Transportation Center
DIVISION:Information System and Technology Audits Division
NOTE: MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO PORT AUTHORITY FACILITIES AS WELL AS PA AUDITTEE LOCATIONS/OFFICES AS NEEDED
JOB DESCRIPTION: Reporting directly to the Audit Division Manager, the selected candidate will assist the Manager in the development, risk assessment and preparation of an annual audit plan; provide supervision and direction in the performance of information systems and cyber security audits to ensure adequacy and effectiveness of controls applicable to the Agency’s computer and technology environment; perform complex/sensitive reviews and special assignments; ensure resources are utilized in areas of highest risk and that the scope and budget are appropriate for each assignment; utilize effective communication skills to convey the results of audits to internal and external senior management, both verbally and in writing and, draft clear and concise audit reports for Manager’s review; follow up on audit report recommendations to ensure that the appropriate action was taken; provide input to staff performance evaluation of and identification of training/development needs.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security or related field
3 years related experience in the auditing or information technology related field
Demonstrated ability to effectively assign resources, supervise audits and develop staff.
General understanding of internal control practices and system controls.
Knowledge of professional auditing standards (IIA/ISACA) and COBIT, NIST, COSO frameworks.
Thorough understanding of cyber security risk and mitigation
Excellent project management, planning, organizational, analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines, work independently and prioritize work
Ability to effectively build relationships and interact with internal and external partners at all levels.
Knowledge of current ERPs applications (SAP, PeopleSoft), operating systems (Windows, Linux), databases (Oracle, MS SQL) and vulnerability scanning tools
Ability to develop recommendations for corrective action based on the analysis of scanning tool results and system configurations
Ability to review and evaluate complex design documentation and information systems to identify controls for enhancing security.
Professional certifications desirable: CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM
