Responsibilities
The CSO Tunnels, Bridges and Terminals (TB&T) Senior Security Coordinator, reporting to the CSO Manager of TB&T Security, provides support to all departmental efforts in the planning and execution of strategic security related initiatives at the George Washington Bridge and GWB Bus Station (GWB). This includes management and accountability of the GWB security guard force, tracking, and developing performance metrics, and developing post orders. Additionally, the Senior Security Coordinator will be responsible for oversight and operational availability of the GWB’s security technology by assuring proper preventive and corrective maintenance. The Senior Security Coordinator will be the primary point of contact for all security matters at the GWB. The Senior Security Coordinator will be required to assist other members of the TB&T Security group with obligations and initiatives, when necessary, at any of the TB&T facilities (George Washington Bridge and George Washington Bridge Bus Station, Holland Tunnel, Lincoln Tunnel, Port Authority Bus Terminal & Staten Island Bridges (Bayonne, Goethals, and Outerbridge Crossing), The Port Authority Technical Center (PATC)) and any other locations which the group is responsible for.
