The Aviation Department of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Program Manager of Airport and System Operations to move the planning of the LGA AirTrain and associated LGA Redevelopment initiatives into the next stages!
Reporting to the LGA AirTrain Senior Program Manager the Airport and System Operations Program Manager will provide supervision, guidance and leadership to the Program and Project Managers assigned to LGA AirTrain to move the planning of the LGA AirTrain and associated initiatives into the next stages of development.
The Airport and System Operations Program Manager will be responsible for day-to-day coordination with LGA Operations throughout planning, procurement and construction and strategic development and procurement of the AirTrain system’s operations and maintenance specifications. This position will oversee both PA and Consultant staff. Prior to AirTrain system testing, this individual will develop expertise in AirTrain operations, safety and security.
Once the AirTrain is open for service, this position will support the operation of the AirTrain system.
