The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is a bi-state public agency operating some of the busiest and most important transportation links in the New York / New Jersey region including The Port Authority Trans Hudson Corporation (PATH), the primary transit link between Manhattan and New Jersey communities and suburban commuter railroads.

  • This position is located at 4 World Trade Center, New York, NY.
  • This is a position is represented by the CWA Local 1032 Union.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the collection activity of approximately 600 accounts; extensive contact with external customers and internal business partners, both in person and over the phone, to obtain payment; respond to inquiries from customers and tenants to discuss issues related to monthly statements and invoices received.  Provide other office support and special projects as required.

Qualifications

Candidates must present the following qualifications to be considered eligible for this position:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or finance.

  • Excellent oral communication, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience using PC applications and spreadsheets.
