The Port Authority offers 12-week paid summer internships to students that provide the opportunity to work with knowledgeable and experienced professionals on assignments critical to operating, maintaining, and expanding the transportation infrastructure for one of the greatest economies in the world.

The Office of the Chief Operating Officer is looking for a summer intern to join their team! Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Office of the Chief Operating Officer is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of Port Authority-wide policies and strategies governing the operation and management of its facilities, consistent with the agencyâ€™s mission, goals and objectives, individual line department business plans, safety management and Enterprise Risk Management strategies and guidelines. The Office of the Chief Operating Officer is focused on ensuring enhanced asset management of critical infrastructure through improved operations, maintenance practices, and capital project deliver; enhancing operating efficiency and customer service; addressing cross-departmental issues; development and using improved performance measures.
