Security Application Service Delivery Manager

An Application Delivery Manager with in-depth-knowledge of Verint Nextiva CCTV and Lenel Access Control is required to manage the agency wide physical security applications environment and to support enterprise-wide security application initiatives.


This individual will work in support of CCTV and Access Control initiatives for the agency.  Job entails working closely with technical leads and program managers from the Technology and Line Departments in the delivery, support and management of the physical security systems applications.  This individual will need strong technical skills with specific knowledge of both Lenel and Verint Nextiva applications in order to provide oversight to the application maintenance contractor for these applications. 

Preferred candidate will have 7+ years of proven technical experience in managing Verint and Lenel applications, specifically in implementing and maintaining large-scale, enterprise wide environments.  This individual must have program management experience, as well as the ability to create operational process and procedure documents. Candidate must also show demonstrated experience in problem management, inclusive of problem resolution/closure, root cause analysis and lessons learned activities.

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage an Agency Wide Physical Security Applications Maintenance Provider Contract
  • Manage and direct day-to-day changes to the Lenel/Verint security applications
  • Ensure the security application is operational 24/7/365
  • Address and resolve security application issues and report on/escalate to management
  • Provide reports in relation to security application system performance and modifications
  • Maintain groups and security policies within security applications
  • Continually evaluate the security application processes and procedures to identify and implement improvements
  • Work with operation and technical staff to advance security application project delivery
  • Validate implementation of new products/features in the security applications
  • Be aware of new enhancements to Verint/Lenel products or other security products


Candidates must present the following qualifications to be considered eligible for this position:

  • 7+ years working on both Lenel and Verint applications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related technical, engineering, or scientific field, or equivalent experience in managing and implementing Lenel or Verint systems.
  • Experience with large, enterprise Security Application implementations
  • Experience in managing Security Applications Maintenance Provider Contracts
  • Experience with implementing Lenel advance functionality such as Open IT/Data Conduit
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Lenel On-Guard Application and Verint Nextiva Systems
  • Ability to monitor and maintain third party interfaces to ensure proper operations of the Lenel and Verint security systems
  • Smart Card and fingerprint Biometrics technology knowledge
  • Knowledge of identity management systems that integrate with Lenel systems

  • Ability to write work-orders and develop enhancement specifications for existing systems
  • Capability to lead and direct the work of others
  • Ability to communicate technical issues to other team members, management and clients, both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong written and verbal Communication and Presentation skills
  • Verint/Lenel certification a plus
  • Exposure to financials/budgeting related service contracts
