Location: Newark Liberty Int'l Airport
Reporting to the Senior Engineer of Construction (EOC), the Resident Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of contractor activities at the assigned PA facility.
The Resident Engineer will act as the Lead Engineer Architect (LEA) for Stage IV construction and oversee the schedule and budget in adherence to the contracted scope for all construction projects assigned to the facility under his/her supervision. Managing the day-to-day contractor activities will include coordination with Facility Operations, monitoring construction inspections, and performing contract administration procedures to assure that construction is completed within budget and the contractual schedule, and that construction is performed safely and in accordance with all approved documents.
Responsibilities also include but are not limited to the following:
This position will initially be located at Newark Liberty International Airport, Newark, NJ for the Building 80 Resident Engineer’s Office but can be relocated to any other PA Facility within the Port District, depending on CMD workload demands.
Applicant will be required to be fingerprinted and must be able to pass a background check and obtain a SIDA card per this Facility’s security requirement.
