The Electronics Systems Specialist (ESS) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electronic equipment including:
ESS will need interpret and work from electrical and electronic drawings, plan diagrams and specifications and prepare rough working drawings of modifications.
Shifts: ESS works a standard 40-hour week, including some shift work and shift changes as required. The successful candidate will espond to emergencies on weekends, nights, holidays and support snow removal operations.
Location: ESSs report to a central location in Jersey City, NJ close to the Holland Tunnel and perform work at various Port Authority facilities throughout the New York/New Jersey region, including George Washington Bridge, Staten Island Bridge. Holland Tunnel & Lincoln Tunnel, the Port Authority Bus Terminal, JFK, LaGuardia, Newark and related AirTrain systems. PATH Train and the New York Marine Terminal / New Jersey Marine Terminal.

Starting Salary: $29.06 hourly, $60,450 annually. This position is 40 hours per week, with potential overtime.
