Location: LaGuardia Airport
Reporting to the Engineer of Construction (EOC), the Senior Resident Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all state of good repair landside and airside contracts being performed, inclusive of the tenant performed redevelopment work by Delta Airlines but exclusive of the Redevelopment projects being constructed by the Public Private Partnership (PPP).
The Senior Resident Engineer will act as the Lead Engineer Architect (LEA) for Stage IV design and construction and oversee the schedule and budget in adherence to the contracted scope. Managing the day-to-day contractor activities will include coordination with Facility Operations, monitoring construction inspections, and performing contract administration procedures to assure that construction is completed within budget and the contractual schedule, and that construction is performed safely and in accordance with all approved documents. The Senior Resident Engineer will also coordinate and resolve any conflicts with Delta and PPP Redevelopment scope.

This position will initially be located at LaGuardia Airport, Queens, NY for the Resident Engineer’s Office, but can be relocated to any other PA Facility within the Port District, depending on CMD workload demands.
Successful candidate must be able to pass a fingerprint-based Criminal History Record Check, background check and will be required to obtain a SIDA card per this Facility’s security requirement.
