The Technology Department develops and supports a wide range of IT solutions in support of the Agency’s mission.  Under the direction of the Business Management Office the selected candidate will be responsible for a wide range of process management responsibilities in operation of the day-to-day administration of the Technology Department.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing the on-boarding and off-boarding of Technology Staff
  • Assisting the Business Management unit in ensuring compliance with organizational policy and guidelines.
  • Prepare requisitions as they relate to new hires, contractors, PeopleSoft administration, separation notices, training enrollment, staff moves etc.
  • Manage the staff business travel and training process
  • Serve as Department Records Management Coordinator
  • Liaise with Real Estate for day-to-day facility operations including access keys and ID Card Access
  • Coordinate TransitChek program
  • Assist in Board Process as needed
  • Performance of other related duties and assignments as required by the Business Management office.
  • Manage phone calls and correspondences
  • Coordinate office activities/functions and operations ensuring efficiency and compliance to Port Authority guidelines

Candidates must present the following qualifications to be considered eligible for this position:

  • Three (3) years of experience in administration, office management or similar job function
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent skills using the entire Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Office 365 OneDrive & SharePoint
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication (In English) required


Ideal candidates will present the following profile:

  • Ability to prioritize assignments, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet established deadlines.
  • Able to respond and complete time sensitive tasks at a moment’s notice. 
  • Knowledge of the Port Authority Board Process
