Location: Journal Square Transp. Center
The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting the Division Manager in the following areas: the development of a divisional audit plan designed to effectively address business risks in the division’s area of responsibility; suggesting changes to the Plan throughout the year based upon concerns raised and requests made by other PA departments and/or executive management; effectively utilizing audit resources to provide maximum audit coverage to areas of greatest risk; ensuring that audits are completed in accordance with established departmental guidelines and professional standards; presenting results and recommendations for improvements to Port Authority management staff and external auditees; preparing, reviewing and editing audit reports that accurately reflect the results of the audit and provide value to the business units; maintaining effective on-going working relationships with staff of the business units; supervising multiple audits assigned to staff; supervising staff, including preparing performance evaluations and making recommendations for enhancement to their skills and development; maintaining a highly motivated, well-trained audit staff; leading the division in the manager’s absence; and representing the department on inter-departmental teams and committees related to Audit matters. Must be able to travel to Port Authority Facilities as well as PA auditee locations/offices as needed
Candidates must present the following qualifications to be considered eligible for this position:
Applicants must have a minimum of four years of demonstrated supervisory experience.
Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
