Department: Chief Security Office
Location: 4 World Trade Center
Reporting to the Director, World Trade Center Security within the Chief Security Office, the selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of highly responsible and confidential secretarial and administrative duties including, but not limited to: managing and maintaining the Director’s calendar; screening, referring, and handling internal and external inquiries; reading, prioritizing, and distributing confidential and sensitive mail; preparing, reviewing, and editing correspondence; managing and maintaining the Director’s filing and follow-up systems; making travel arrangements; preparing expense documents; managing the Correspondence Tracking Systems (CTS) process; preparing the department’s quarterly travel plan; preparing and processing authorization forms and memos; timekeeping; reviewing invoices; and independently issuing memos/notes for the Director. In addition, this position will provide backup secretarial support to the Senior Executive Secretary of the Chief Security Officer.
In addition, this position will be responsible for working with the Department’s Records Compliance Officer and support staff to ensure that records are maintained in accordance with the Records Retention Manual.
