Under the direct supervision of the Manager, VAMMS, the incumbent is responsible for overseeing the assets within the Power Signal & Communications Division. As the first level of asset management resource, the incumbent will directly train and assist field staff in using VAMMS on kiosks and tablets. Assist supervisors with the generation and of reports and key performance indicators. Data will include but not be limited to current and historic asset conditions, deployments, repairs, locations, sub-assemblies (component parts), associations with specific corrective/preventative maintenance, service requests and capital projects. The incumbent will ensure accuracy, integrity and security of data, materials and maintenance in order that inspections and maintenance procedures may be scheduled and performed. In addition, develop new preventative maintenance and overhaul programs on PATH building and equipment assets including rolling stock. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for the supervision of data clerks with respect to their duties associated with VAMMS.
The incumbent should have vast knowledge of PATH/PA maintenance procedures, FRA and FTA regulations.
