PATH has an ambitious 10-year Capital Plan valued at $3.3 billion. To successfully execute and implement more than 100 capital projects and at the same time maintain a safe and reliable operating railroad that provides Trans-Hudson transit service to over 80 million passengers annually. PATH has embarked on the development of a Master Schedule. The Master Schedule, which incorporates all operations and maintenance routines, state of good repair and capital improvement projects, and Sandy recovery and resiliency projects, is a tool to assist management with making key decisions on optimizing the use of PATH resources - finance, manpower, track rights and equipment. The Logistics Rail Planning Group under the Directors Office is responsible for the development, management and oversight of the Master Schedule.
The Logistics Planning Project Manager, under the supervision of the Manager of Logistics and Rail Planning, is essential to the success of the Master Schedule. Specific responsibilities include:
